About a block away from the Festival site, we found "Francine's Restaurant" located right across the street from "The Brass Monkey".

 In February 2002...

Francine Reed was asked to perform at the "2002 Perth International Arts Festival" in Western Australia.

 She asked "Java Monkey" to go with her, so along with CMO engineer/producer Edd Miller, we all packed our bags and flew half way around the world, landing 28 hours later in beautiful Perth, WA.

February is in the middle of Australia's Summer, so it was a wonderful time to be there. The city is beautiful, the people were very friendly, the seafood was delicious, and the beaches were inviting. What's not to like!
